What is a Montessori tower?
A helper tower or Montessori tower is a safe structure that has elevations and side panels that protect your child from falling. Staying on it will give your child the independence to safely reach kitchen countertops, bathroom sinks, and any places too high to reach.
Developed by Italian educator Maria Montessori to give your child more mobility and allow them to develop gross motor skills and balance while climbing and exploring, tower helpers truly give toddlers great learning opportunities as they grow.
A tower helps further children's physical development. Climbing requires balance and coordination. When a child climbs, they use their hands for support and push to climb.
The child's involvement in practical life activities should occur when he or she is able to participate even in a minimal capacity. The recommended age for using the tower assistant is from 18 months, at which age the child is already confidently standing and walking independently. It is at this age that the child's coordination of movements is more developed, which will allow you to enjoy using the tower and create pleasant memories with your kids.
Our Yoko transformer tower is universal! It is equipped with side panels around the perimeter for the safety of children. There is a drawing board on the front of the tower, which will stimulate the child's creativity at any time. Also, the tower transforms into a table with a chair. The child gets a great place to draw, play and eat. Compactness and light weight allow you to move the tower around the house. We have created a device for children to enjoy their activities with more independence.
